We have been renovating the house for 2 years. The interior is almost finished and we used clay for the interior walls. Since the house is very small, we want to extend the sides even more and convert the roof structure into a sleeping area. We try to use as many ecological building materials as possible, such as wood, clay and wood insulation wool. In order to continue this project, we need building materials and money. Help us to create a natural orchard on the farm. The orchard should include between 10-15 fruit trees, which we will protect from wild animals with wire. If you want we can place your name on a sign next to the tree that you have donated for.

Here we gonna build a small sauna. The sauna will be connected to the bathhouse so people can take a shower immediately after the sauna.

We are renovating one part of the barn to create a small gym and workshop. Guests and friends that come around to the farm should benefit from this place aswell.

We are working on breathing new life and diversity into a “dead” monoculture forest with no diversity. Almost all “forests” in Sweden are actually plantations in which the trees are time by time harvested with big forest maschines. This often creates “desert-like” areas that do not look very attractive. We want to turn our forest into a beautiful diverse Taiga forest again.

We are working on turning a cleared area into a natural cultural landscape. To do this, we want to turn the area into a grassy meadow on which we will later keep livestock such as Highland cows and where hay will also be possible. We also want to cultivate various types of trees on the sides of the landscape, such as oak. We have already built a forest road through the plain to the forest. Since springs and streams flow along the road, we still need to build wooden bridges and drainage systems so that the road is not flooded by water. To achieve this, we need money, time and building materials.

Here we have built a chicken coop in the self-sufficient garden. The coop has space for 10-15 chickens. It is heated in winter and lets in enough light through the windows to provide the chickens with optimal care.
